In 2006, AS Viljandi Metall consolidated all its production under one company, which was named AS VMT Tehased.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased AS offers steel structures for construction, industrial and machine building sectors. We have acquired the EN ISO 3834-2 welding certificate and can provide CE marking for everything we produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased operates in two factories in Viljandi and P\u00f5ltsamaa. Our annual output is approx 7000 tons, production buildings 13000 m2 ja production land 10 hectare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased is oriented to offer customers services “from idea to product”. In cooperation with other Viljandi Metall group companies, we can offer complete solutions from design to product installation at site.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>

Production<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our services include technological preparation<\/strong>, which means preparation of detailed drawings and cutting files or modification of customers drawings to make them suitable for production. The aim of the technologists is to ensure the best technological solution for the customer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a project management and budgeting service<\/strong> for smooth communication with customers and cooperation partners and to be on time with delivery dates. Each project manager specializes in the product group of his field in order to offer customers the most compact and worry-free service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased production takes place in two factories in Viljandi and P\u00f5ltsamaa<\/strong>. Production includes material preparation, welding, finishing, final assembly and packaging services. The wide range of equipment<\/strong> in the preparation department offers many different options for processing materials. The capabilities of the welding department are wide and we can skillfully handle the proper welding of structural steel<\/strong> as well as complex mechanical engineering equipment<\/strong>. We have acquired the EN ISO 3834-2<\/strong> welding certificate and can provide CE marking<\/strong> for products. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Quality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased also offers a quality control service. We have in-house quality inspectors<\/strong> who check in the preparation, welding and finishing departments the compliance of the requirements arising from both the customers and the standards. Quality inspectors are certified to perform dimensional inspections of products, visual inspections of welding, magnetic powder inspections and various surface treatment inspections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-house IWEs<\/strong>, i.e. international welding engineers, are responsible for quality assurance and welding documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMT Tehased AS is certified<\/strong> according to EN ISO 3834-2, EN 1090-1 and ISO 9001 standards and has Environmental Product Declaration (EPD<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We also have an e-shop<\/strong>, Metallikeskus.ee<\/a>, which offers the company’s warehouse resources to private customers all over Estonia. It is one of the first e-shops in Estonia dealing with the retail sale of carbon and stainless steel profiles and sheet materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
